Reach Out & Build Network
I’m pretty certain this has been schooled into your awareness by every sales manager you’ve ever had but it’s recurring for a reason. You’ve got to go out and overlook.
Reach out to your existing clients. This is approximately clients really increase in value. Give them a call a week or so after they return to ask about how it went.
They’re connecting you with the good experiences they had. You can start enquiring about their future travel plans and make note of their travel comforts then you can call them later if great packages come up that ensembles them.
Don’t be frightened to ask if they know other people who are observing to get away, they may not but if somebody comments travel to them, you’ll be the first person on their mind but just don’t overdo it, calling daily or even weekly gets really irritating.
Get Involved With Customers And Be Social
It’s one of the best habits to get involved with your customers. Posting photos, videos and sharing tips on social media will get them sharing your travel knowledge with their friends and sets you up as an authority.
Going out to community events, meeting new people, expanding your social network even offline will help you sell more. Make your net wide, when someone needs a travel agent, you need to be the one they talk about having a friend who’s a travel agent.
Don’t Forget Old School
How frequently do you get mail these days, not e-mail or bills but an actual handwritten letter? Very seldom. When you travel may it be national or foreign, send postcards to some of your clients. Write about how astonishing the trip was, what events you did and that you look forward to talking about your involvements when you return. It’s not just about making them envy though that’s part of it, it’s about the clients connecting you with travel.
There are uncountable quantities of clubs and organisations out there that you can find simply online. Check out all the travel resources you get from suppliers and try to match some of the curriculums available with club interests.
Don’t be scared to attend some of the club’s events for networking determinations, Like I mentioned above, don’t overdo it, you don’t want to attend a group function just for conflict experts when you’ve never brawled a conflict
